Spending by residents on overnight tourism trips
Total spending in the year by residents of the country aged 15 and over on tourism trips of one night or more, for personal or business reasons, to destinations in the country and abroad: transport, accommodation, food and drink and other spending, excluding durable and valuable goods. Euro at current prices (Eurostat survey of tourism trips by residents).

Tourism share of employment
Employment in tourism as a percentage of total employment, as each country reports it to the OECD: for most countries, people employed or jobs in the tourism industries (accommodation, food and beverage serving, passenger transport, travel agencies and others); for some, the employment that serves visitors directly.
International visitor arrivals (non-residents, overnight and same-day)
Arrivals of non-resident visitors in the country in the year: tourists who stay at least one night and same-day visitors together, from frontier statistics or visitor surveys reported to the OECD. Each arrival counts, so a visitor who comes twice counts twice.
