Terms of service
These terms form the contract between you and [Legal entity name] ("Invokely", "we") for the use of the Invokely API, MCP server and website. By creating an account, calling the service or buying a plan or credits, you accept them.
Some rules differ for consumers and businesses. A consumer is a person acting for purposes outside their trade, business or profession. If you use Invokely for your work or on behalf of a company, you are a business customer, and you confirm that you can accept these terms for that company.
The service
Invokely gives developers and AI agents access to official statistics through a REST API and an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. The figures come from public agencies such as INE, Eurostat, Idescat, SEPE and Banco de España. Each figure is returned with its source and citation.
We may add, change or remove indicators, sources, tools and features. The documentation describes the service as it is at any given time.
Accounts
You must be 18 or over to create an account. You sign in with an emailed link or with Google.
Keep access to your email account and your API keys secure. You are responsible for everything done with your account, your keys and the MCP clients you authorize. If you think a key has leaked, revoke it in the dashboard and create a new one. Tell us at legal@invokely.ai if you suspect unauthorized use.
Agents and connected clients
You can let an AI agent or MCP client, such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, use Invokely on your behalf by giving it an API key or approving it through OAuth. Calls it makes count against your plan, as if you had made them. You can withdraw that access at any time by revoking the key or the authorization.
You are responsible for how your agents use the service and for what they do with the figures they receive.
Statistics and their sources
The statistics belong to the agencies that publish them. Invokely republishes them under each publisher's license and terms of reuse. The sources page lists the license for each source.
Figures are provided as each source publishes them. Sources revise data, and we may process or harmonize it, for example to match places across sources. Errors can occur, either at the source or in our processing.
Before you rely on a figure for a decision with legal or financial consequences, check it against the original source using the citation we provide.
Those licenses and terms also bind you. When you publish or pass on figures from Invokely, you do so under each publisher's own terms, with the same permissions, conditions and restrictions, and with the attribution and notices they require. The citation in each response carries that attribution and any notice the publisher asks for.
Invokely is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any of the agencies whose data it republishes.
Acceptable use
You may use the figures you receive in your own products, agents, analyses and publications, including commercial ones, as long as you respect the source licenses and these terms.
You must not:
- share API keys outside your own account or organization, or sell or publish them;
- bypass or try to bypass rate limits, quotas or the anonymous trial limit, for example by creating several accounts or rotating IP addresses;
- extract the database, or large parts of it, in bulk to resell it or to offer a competing data service;
- attack, probe or overload the service, test its security without our written permission, or interfere with other users;
- use the service in breach of the law or of third-party rights.
We may limit, suspend or close access that breaks these rules (see "Suspension and termination").
Plans and limits
Invokely offers a free plan, monthly subscriptions (Builder and Pro), and prepaid credits. The pricing page shows the current prices, the calls included in each plan, and what counts as a call.
When you reach your monthly limit, prepaid credits are used if you have them. Otherwise calls return a quota error until the next month or until you upgrade.
Without an account, agents can try the MCP server for up to 25 calls a day per IP address.
We may change the free plan and the anonymous trial, including their limits, at any time. Changes to paid plans follow the "Price changes" section.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Invokely does not see or store your card number.
Prices are in euros. Checkout shows the final price, including any VAT that applies, before you pay. Your invoices are available in the billing portal.
If a payment fails, we may move your account to the free plan until the payment is settled.
Subscriptions and cancellation
Subscriptions are charged monthly in advance and renew automatically each month until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time from the billing portal. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and is not renewed after that. Apart from the withdrawal right described below, we do not refund partial months.
You can change plans from the billing page. The change and any price difference are shown before you confirm.
Prepaid credits
Prepaid credits pay for calls beyond your plan, or for all your calls if you have no subscription. Credits do not expire.
Credits that have been used are not refundable. If we close the service, or close your account without a breach of these terms on your part, we will refund the credits you have not used.
Price changes
We may change subscription prices. We will tell you by email at least 30 days before a new price applies to your subscription. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect. Credits you have already bought keep the value they had when you bought them.
Right of withdrawal for consumers
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you can withdraw from a subscription or a credit purchase within 14 days of the purchase, without giving a reason.
To withdraw, send a clear statement to legal@invokely.ai from the email address on your account. Saying "I withdraw from my contract for [plan or credit purchase] made on [date]" is enough. Sending it before the 14 days end is sufficient.
At checkout you ask us to start providing the service at once, during the withdrawal period, and you confirm that you know what this means:
- If you withdraw from a subscription, you pay for the part of the service provided until you told us, in proportion to the days of the billing period that had passed. We refund the rest.
- If you withdraw from a credit purchase, you pay for the credits you used. We refund the unused credits.
- Once the service has been fully provided, for example when all the credits you bought have been used, the right of withdrawal ends.
We refund within 14 days of receiving your statement, using the payment method you used, at no cost to you. After you withdraw, stop using the part of the service you withdrew from.
This right does not apply to business customers.
Legal guarantee for consumers
If you are a consumer, you have the rights that Spanish and EU law give you when a digital service does not conform to the contract, including the right to have it brought into conformity, a price reduction, or ending the contract. These terms do not limit those rights.
Intellectual property
The Invokely software, website, documentation, and the database built from the harmonized statistics belong to [Legal entity name] or its licensors. This includes the selection and arrangement of the data, the place resolution and the indicator catalog.
We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service under these terms while your account is active. The statistics themselves remain under their publishers' licenses.
Availability
We work to keep Invokely available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or a specific uptime. The service can be unavailable during maintenance, after incidents, or when a source agency is unavailable or changes its data.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using Invokely at any time. To close your account and delete its data, write to privacy@invokely.ai. Cancel any subscription first.
We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, if your use puts the service or other users at risk, or if the law requires it. When possible, we will warn you first and give you time to fix the problem. In urgent cases, such as an attack or a leaked key in active misuse, we may act at once and tell you afterwards.
We may also end the service as a whole. We will give at least 30 days' notice by email and refund unused credits and any prepaid period not yet provided.
No further warranties
Except for the rights that consumer law gives you, and the commitments in these terms, the service is provided as it is. We do not warrant that figures are free of errors or fit for a particular purpose, or that the service will meet your specific requirements.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
If you are a consumer, we are liable under Spanish and EU consumer law, and the limits below do not apply to you where that law forbids them.
If you are a business customer, within the limits the law allows:
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or loss arising from decisions made using figures from the service;
- our total liability for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose and 100 euros.
Business customers' responsibility
If you are a business customer, you are responsible for claims by third parties that arise from your breach of the "Acceptable use" section or of a source license, and you will compensate us for the reasonable costs those claims cause us.
Privacy
The privacy policy explains how we handle personal data. The cookie policy explains the cookies we set.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the service or the law changes. For changes that affect your rights or obligations, we will email you at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel and close your account before that date. If you keep using the service after that date, the new terms apply.
Changes needed to comply with the law, or to address a security risk, may take effect sooner.
Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by Spanish law.
If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts of that country or of Spain.
If you are a business customer, any dispute will be settled by the courts of the city of our registered address in Spain.
We are not bound by any code of conduct or consumer dispute resolution scheme. If you have a complaint, write to legal@invokely.ai. We answer within the time limits set by law.
Other terms
If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest remains in force. If we do not enforce a right at a given moment, we do not waive it. You may not transfer your account or these terms without our consent. We may transfer them to another company that takes over the service, and we will tell you if we do.
