Share of people aged 16 to 74 who used generative artificial intelligence tools, such as chatbots or programs that create text, images, code or audio, in the three months before the survey, for any purpose.

Eurostat survey on ICT usage in households and by individuals. The question was first asked in 2025, so there are no earlier years. It counts private, work and education use together.
