About this ranking
Goods whose economic ownership passes from residents to non-residents, and services residents provide to non-residents, as a percentage of GDP. World Bank national accounts data, compiled from national statistical offices and central banks and from OECD national accounts files.
Can pass 100% in re-export hubs such as Singapore, Hong Kong and Luxembourg, because exports are gross while GDP is value added. National accounts basis, so it differs from customs trade totals. For the amount in dollars see exports_goods_services_usd.
Every value in the ranking comes from the same publisher and the same period, so the EU countries are compared on one definition. Equal values share a rank.
