About this ranking

Share of people aged 16 to 74 who used the internet in the three months before the survey, at any place and on any device.

Eurostat survey on ICT usage in households and by individuals, ages 16 to 74 only. It is a separate series from the ITU share of internet users published by the World Bank, which follows each country's own age range and includes ITU estimates.

Every value in the ranking comes from the same publisher and the same period, so the EU countries are compared on one definition. Equal values share a rank.
