About this ranking

Employed information and communication technology (ICT) specialists as a percentage of total employment. ICT specialists develop, operate or maintain ICT systems, or ICT is the main part of their job; they are identified by occupation (ISCO-08) in the EU Labour Force Survey.

The occupation classification changed in 2011, and Eurostat marks that year as a series break. Eurostat flags Spain and France from 2021 as following a different definition.

Every value in the ranking comes from the same publisher and the same period, so the EU countries are compared on one definition. Equal values share a rank.
