About this ranking

Average price of electricity paid by household consumers with an annual consumption of 2,500 to 4,999 kWh (band DC, the median band), all taxes and levies included, in euros per kWh.

A separate series from electricity_price_residential, the US average residential price from the Energy Information Administration in US cents per kWh, which is annual and averages all residential customers.

Every value in the ranking comes from the same publisher and the same period, so the EU countries are compared on one definition. Equal values share a rank.
