Definition
Statistics Canada's published ratio of Household sector real estate at market value to a four-quarter moving sum of disposable income and the change in pension entitlements. Real estate includes residential and non-residential structures and land. The ratio is not seasonally adjusted.
The Household sector includes unincorporated enterprises operated by households and excludes NPISH. The real-estate measure includes more than residential homes and is an aggregate sector ratio, not an average per household.
