New household loan rate for other purposes
Monthly average annual interest rate on new euro loans to households for purposes other than house purchase or consumption, excluding revolving loans, overdrafts and credit-card debt.
New agreements include renegotiations. Rates are weighted by the amounts agreed during the month and are distinct from the ECB composite rates that use moving-average weights. Annualised agreed rates or narrowly defined effective rates (AAR/NDER) cover interest and exclude fees and other charges. Household figures include non-profit institutions serving households. Corporations are non-financial companies. The euro area aggregate has changing membership. Country histories vary and missing values are not filled.
