Definition

Gross disposable income of the household sector per capita, at current prices, Australian dollars, for the financial year ended 30 June. ABS Australian National Accounts: State Accounts, Household Income Account and Per Capita tables, for Australia, the six states and the two territories.

A national accounts measure. It is gross: the ABS Household Income Account shows gross disposable income as final consumption expenditure plus net saving plus consumption of fixed capital, and its income includes the operating surplus of dwellings owned by persons. It is not the net measure in household_disposable_income_per_capita (Eurostat, euros) and not a survey or tax based income. For the financial year ended June, 2025 is July 2024 to June 2025.
