Average annual spending per person (Spain)
Average annual consumption spending per household member, all goods and services.
More on how it is measured
- Consumption spending of private households resident in main dwellings, including non-monetary consumption such as the imputed rent of owner-occupied and rent-free dwellings, goods the household produces for itself and wages in kind, from the INE household budget survey (Encuesta de Presupuestos Familiares, EPF, base 2016, ECOICOP version 2 groups).
Spain only: the country, the 17 comunidades autónomas, Ceuta and Melilla, from 2016; region means region of residence. Current euros. A sample survey: values with a coefficient of variation of 25% or more (INE table 74004) are marked low_reliability, and cells INE keeps confidential are left out. Earlier years (base 2006) are not joined to this series.
