Average cost to US refiners of the imported crude oil they take into their refineries, including transport and other fees the refiner pays, in US dollars per barrel, from the U.S. Energy Information Administration refiners' cost survey.

A survey price, not an exchange benchmark: it is neither the WTI nor the Brent spot or futures price, which Invokely does not serve because EIA republishes them under third party copyright. The closest official measure of the world price paid for crude delivered to the United States. United States only, monthly from 1974 and annual from 1968. Nominal dollars, not adjusted for inflation. EIA revises recent months.
