Average household spending in Canada on education
Average annual spending on education per household, in current Canadian dollars, for Canada and the ten provinces. A household is a person or group of persons occupying one dwelling. Averages are over all households, including those that reported no spending on the category. Survey of Household Spending, Statistics Canada Table 11-10-0222-01.
An average per household, not per person, in current Canadian dollars, not adjusted for inflation. Annual from 2010 to 2017, then every two years (2019, 2021, 2023). It is not comparable with avg_household_spending_*_usd (United States consumer units) without a currency conversion, and it is lower than household consumption in the national accounts, which also counts imputed rent and spending on behalf of households.
