- Note: An average per household, not per person, in current Canadian dollars, not adjusted for inflation. Annual from 2010 to 2017, then every two years (2019, 2021, 2023). It is not comparable with avg_household_spending_*_usd (United States consumer units) without a currency conversion, and it is lower than household consumption in the national accounts, which also counts imputed rent and spending on behalf of households.
