Number of enterprises active at any time during the year in industry, construction and market services (NACE Rev. 2 sections B to S except O and S94), from Eurostat structural business statistics. An enterprise is the smallest combination of legal units that produces goods or services with some autonomy in its decisions; one enterprise can have several local units.
